MARILYN ALSTONI reside in Seattle, WA. I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a caregiver with a heart and passion for serving others. I’ve been a caregiver for over 25 years. Some of the organizations I’ve volunteered for are: City Team Ministries, a homeless men’s shelter where I served hot meals, Community Center for the Blind, Jubilee Reach, and Kent Area Council (KAC) Clothing Bank. I agreed to becoming a board member of the Way2love foundation because I not only believe in the mission of the organization, but also because of the passion and the heart of its founder Vanessa Calloway. The name of this organization says it all. It will serve as a great benefit to the community

CHESKA FULLERI am currently a medical assistant and my passion is helping people.
The reason I said yes to being on the board of Way to Love, is that I want to be able to give to those who may be down on their luck and not be able to help themselves at the moment. Show them that their are people who do really care. I do not have a lot of money but I have some time, and I believe I that time is more valuable than money, and that taking the time to give may be the encouragement that some people need to go on another day. We never know how much light we can shine on a dark situation just with a “hello”. To some it may not be “the solution” but its what God has put on my heart. So I’m here!! Not only that but I love Vanessa so if my sister needs me I’m going to do my best to show up |

WAYNE EARL“I grew up in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. I began my professional journey in Silicon Valley startup companies, where I enjoyed a successful career as an engineer and leader in affiliate marketing and online advertising. At the height of my worldly success, amid a great season of loss, I succumbed to relapse from long-term sobriety. Over a period of years, I went from senior management in a Fortune 500 to being homeless and strung out on the streets of Hayward, CA.
Having been delivered from drug addiction and homelessness by God's power and the support of the community, I have dedicated my life to ministry service to God and those who come from where I came from. I serve as Senior Pastor at Rock Harbor Christian Fellowship in San Pablo, CA, and as Manager of Special Projects at the Bay Area Rescue Mission in Richmond, CA. Furthermore, I have been appointed by the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors to the Faith Community Representative seat on the Council on Homelessness, which is the governing body for the Contra Costa County Continuum of Care." |
